2018 Mercedes-Benz A-Class officially introduced at a special event in Amsterdam. The new generation A-Class comes with more efficient engines, convenience technologies and modern safety features.

The sharp lines of the third-generation A-Class, reshaped by the latest design concept of the German car manufacturer, are borrowed from the new CLS-Class. This represents Mercedes’ next step in Sensual Purity’s design philosophy.

The low-front design, which unveils the character of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz A-Class, is combined with new sharp-form LED headlamps, larger front grille and chrome details. Compared to its predecessor, this low-hood design makes the new compact hatchback look even more dynamic. In addition, it is undeniable that new alloy wheels contribute to design.

On the rear side, unlike the previous model, the new thin rear lamps sitting on a sloping line make the new 2018 Mercedes-Benz A-Class look more vivid.

Furthermore, when you sit on A-Class’s seat, which is the first Mercedes model to house the next-generation MBUX infotainment system, you can activate it by saying “Hey Mercedes” voice control with natural speech recognition.

What makes this new system different from the others is the ability to learn at the level of artificial intelligence technology. MBUX has an emotional connection potential between the vehicle and the driver or passenger. Other features include a Car-to-X communication, the Vehicle Tracker, head-up display and a Mercedes Me application collection.

The dimensions of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz A-Class have increased at many points. More shoulders, elbows and head distances have been achieved thanks to the longer wheelbase and wider track. Compared to the previous model, the luggage capacity has reached 370 liters with an increase of 29 liters and now there is more room for your suitcases.

Among the current technologies transferred from S-Class include Active Lane Change Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Distance Assist, Active Emergency Stop Assist and a PRE-SAFE Plus system that recognizes the approaching back-end collision and tightens the vehicle’s brakes and stretches the seat belt.
