2021 Hyundai i20

Hyundai recently officially unveiled the third generation of the best-selling model i20 supermini and the South Korean manufacturer shared images from the interior today.

The previously shared photos belonged only to the exterior design, and finally the first images from the interior of the 2021 Hyundai i20 were released. The interior is equipped with more technological equipment than its predecessor.

A driver-oriented cockpit features a 10.25-inch digital cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system. Depending on equipment package options will be offered such as wireless charging pad, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bose sound system with eight speakers and ambient lighting. In addition, we see that many elements such as ventilation grilles on a horizontal line, four-spoke steering wheel, door openers and air conditioning adjustment have been redesigned with an innovative design approach.

Changes in dimensions of the i20 are limited. The roof has been lowered by 24 mm, its width has increased by 30 mm and its length by 5 mm. Along with the new proportions, the wheelbase has been expanded by 10 mm, allowing more space to be opened both inside and in the luggage area. In this way, it should be noted that there is 25 liters more volume in the trunk.

The advanced safety technologies offered in the 2021 Hyundai i20 include automatic cruise control based on navigation that adjusts to the speed limits of your area, blind spot warning system, lane tracking assistant, front collision warning system that can detect pedestrians, cross traffic warning system and more.

2021 Hyundai i20 comes with more engine options. The entry-level 1.2-liter MPi unit produces 84 PS and is connected with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.0-liter T-GDI option will have 100 PS and 120 PS. In the 100 PS version, the 48-volt mild-hybrid support will be optional, while the other will be standard. Hyundai says this 48-volt mild-hybrid system reduces fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by 3-4 percent. The 1.0-liter T-GDI will match the seven-speed dual-clutch transmission or six-speed manual transmission.

2021 Hyundai i20 will be available in the European market in the summer.
